Throughout our three years committed to student government, we have created precedents, completed initiatives, and catalyzed change. Here are a few highlights of those successes.

Advocated for, and successfully created, a task force that made recommendations to improve advising services on campus

Secured a Student Services Fees restructuring committee

Created the Committee Development Intern Program, expanding first-year opportunity and reinforcing committee productivity

Passed preferred name policy - allows preferred name on UCard

Created developmental programming for student government staff, emphasizing teamwork and effectiveness

Collaborated to create the international student advisory board

Contacted all registered student groups of 2015-16; garnered feedback from over 700 people

Expanded emergency counselors for student counseling services at Boynton

Secured funding for a male Engagement Coordinator with the Aurora Center

Created the Student Advocacy Conference with an attendance of over 150 people - precedent for student representative training and development
